Who am I?

Hey, I’m Yusuf

I am a Wirtschaftsinformatik (Business Informatics) Master’s student at the University of Stuttgart. I live at the intersection of technical depth and business strategy—effectively a “Nerd in a Suit.”

This space, the (y)usage Garden, is my second brain. It’s where I map connections, visualize chaotic systems, and document my path through machine learning, creative tech, and physical discipline.

The Stack

I build tools that bridge the gap between complex data and intuitive interfaces.

  • Languages: Python, TypeScript, Java, Lua
  • AI/ML: PyTorch, MediaPipe, Constraint Propagation
  • Creative: TouchDesigner, GLSL, Strange Attractors
  • Environment: Ghostty + Neovim + Yazi (keyboard-driven workflow)

Currently

  • Building: SlideLink—automating the bridge between lecture slides and Quartz notes.
  • Studying: Machine Perception & Learning (MPL).
  • Training: Taekwondo—focusing on high pressure sparring and PNF mobility.
  • Exploring: The intersection of generative AI and real time visual systems.

Beyond the Screen

  • Taekwondo: A white-to-black belt journey fueled by a love for spinning kicks.
  • Motorcycles: Pure focus. No distractions, just the bike and the road.
  • Scents: Exploring the sensory world of niche perfumery.
  • Chaos: Obsessed with the math of the Lorenz Attractor.

Contact

Feel free to reach out if you want to talk about data science, creative coding, or why the front leg “cancel” is the most important move in sparring.

“The garden is never finished. Neither am I.”
