Motorcycles have been one of those things that just clicked for me. There’s something about being fully present — no distractions, just you, the bike, and the road. It forces a kind of focus I don’t get anywhere else.

My bike

Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 — I’ve had this one for a while now and still love it. The single-cylinder 692cc thumper has a character that multi-cylinders just don’t. It’s raw, punchy, and sounds angry at low RPMs in a good way. The café racer silhouette turns heads too. Not the most practical bike but easily the most fun to ride every day. The perfect daily driver ^^

Bikes I want in the future

  • Honda CBR 600RR — the underseat exhaust is one of the best design decisions in motorcycle history. Keeps the tail clean and the sound is incredible. A proper supersport done right.
  • Yamaha R6 — probably the most rewarding bike to push hard on a track. The high-revving inline-four screams past 10k RPM and it just begs to be wrung out. Not friendly for commuting but it’s a weapon on twisty roads.
  • BMW F800 — understated and dead reliable. A bike you could ride across continents without thinking twice. I appreciate the engineering more the older I get.
