The TouchDesigner interface is a large, infinite canvas called the Network Editor.
Major UI Elements
- Network Editor: The main area where you place nodes.
- Parameters Window (P): Where you edit node settings.
- Palette (L): Access pre-built components and tools.
- Timeline: Control the global playback.
- Textport (Alt/Opt+T or F4): View Python errors and print output.
Navigation
- Left-Click (LMB): Drag in empty space to pan the network.
- Scroll Wheel: Zoom in and out.
- Left-Click: Click on a node to select it.
- U: Go up to the parent level.
- I: Go into the selected component.
